We’ve just taken a franchise and sold our first one- it’s a lovely little thing! Lots of nice features, plus 3 year warranty. No long term experience yet, but reviews during the research before we took the franchise on were glowing to be fair.

Running one for 6 mths; clocked 500hrs+, fast hyd, good cycling times, very movable in buildings;had new load sensor, pick up hitch ram, hitch vavle, total new spool block, compensation ram( mainly due to a vavle breaking up), ran with manitou 627 before for 10 years, class that as sumo wrestler & Kramer be a ninja turtle.
Seem bit slow getting parts, or could just be strange times we are in.

The Kramer and the Weidemann are identical bar the bonnet style- they’re built in the same factory. Prices are comparable.

Yep, Kramer and Weidemann are both owned by Wacker Neuson so the compact telehandlers are all the same machine as far as I know. Weidemann UK only import the high spec machines, so there’s no nasty surprises like having to spec PUH, aircon etc.- it’s all standard.

I thought kramer was mixed up with jd recently as the jd dealers round here are all sellin them now. Also on the non side boom models are wiedemann not pivot steer and kramer steering axles?

That’s correct- JD own a share in Kramer, but Kramer only as far as I know. Only the compact telehandlers are the same, so you’re right- the Weidemann loaders are pivot steers, while the Kramers are steering axles.
