What’s Angus bullocks making store

I’m hardly at Marts but trying to put a value on my bullocks
Proper suckler bred Angus bullocks out of strong Angus cows
16/18 month
Very well fleshed & grown
We don’t have weigher but approx 450kg min too probably some 500kg & above .
Scotch farm assured

What age were they ?
Without looking it up, probably 20-21 months. Grass fed, out BF type dams.

Was a bit worried about them, as they were a bit smaller and dumpier than what we usually sell. Our previous 2 AA bulls probably had a bit of something else in them, and threw much stretchier calves. But these seemed to sell well thankfully, as we've another 150 or so from him still to come.

£2.50/kg. They're enough at that. Useless slow growing things that are always filthy. Plus you have to mess about booking them in weeks ahead. The few pennies uplift isn't worth the hassle.

OP go to a market and watch some sold, you’ll then get a rough idea or phone an auctioneer to go out. Good beefy Angus bullocks will be at least 270-280 especially at that weight. There was a good number over £3 up in stirling last week.
