Done it a lot of years so got the formula right...dont lose them here, whether there is a lot of profit in the job is another matter, left about £15 other years we reckoned which for mule lambs ,which there was no demand for as babies, was best of a bad job.
Now fat lambs have jumped up we might be able to have a nice do out of the job...time will tell!

We dont even jab them....usually like them all gone by start july, well most of them, maybe turn a dozen runts out and they will sell feb march time.
Think they do leave a little bit of profit but a bit time consuming to rear especially when theyre small....but there arent many alternatives!

what  your hoggs won't raise twins:oops:....you need to change breeds.....how about start a thread for some advice😗😁

Do you let yours?

My Feb born ones lambing now, lilely would but for the benefit of all three, I like to lift one.

My May born ones which should not have been tupped, are having twins one after the other & no way on earth could they rear two.
