Oh and how much are these type of crush’s ? Is it worth trying to get a grant for example.
Second that though mine has a few more motors .We bought an ekochute this autumn and it is fantastic. It doesn't have front foot blocks, I'll attach a picture of what it does have. It works really well.View attachment 1078709View attachment 1078710View attachment 1078711

Looks a clever device for the front feet. What all does the motor operate? We bought an ekochute this autumn and it is fantastic. It doesn't have front foot blocks, I'll attach a picture of what it does have. It works really well.View attachment 1078709View attachment 1078710View attachment 1078711
This motor does the back bar, you can get motors for any or all of the front foot lifters, back foot lifters, or belly bands. In hindsight I wish I'd have gotten the motor on the rear foot lifters. We did have a welsh government grant of 40%. It was approx £5400.Looks a clever device for the front feet. What all does the motor operate?
I would think if you rang up it wouldn't be to bad to retrofit. Daft question from one with currently a very basic manual crush can you get them just in a static form?
Ie no wheels Rams etc.How do mean static form? There's a picture of mine on the first page of this thread from a few years ago. It hasn't moved, so I'd say that was pretty static.
Ie no wheels Rams etc.
I’m sure they do but thought I’d check.
Cool thank you.Yes, mine has no wheels or anything. It's bolted down but that's probably overkill because it's a heavy lump of a thing.

You would in that one if the cow is long enough that their side extends beyond the vertical post. If that makes sense.Cool thank you.
another daft question. Can you do DA operations in one ?
It might be possible but the bar might be in the wrong placeCool thank you.

The ekochute simply has a jersey bar you bolt in to narrow the gap. Could you do that. The headlock is the only fault with it for me, the gap is too wide for a small jersey so if you don't get the rump bar down quickly they will back out.
Worse is when they get shoulders stuck and you got to somehow get them back without going more forwardThe headlock is the only fault with it for me, the gap is too wide for a small jersey so if you don't get the rump bar down quickly they will back out.
Then you end up letting them out and can’t get them back in again.Worse is when they get shoulders stuck and you got to somehow get them back without going more forward
And miraculously the cow accelerates away, completely forgetting that she was lame !Then you end up letting them out and can’t get them back in again.
