What Markets in Mid Wales Wednesday Next Week?

Yes Machynlleth is on a Wednesday. It's a small market but worth a visit for sure. A bit of Welsh culture thrown in too.
The Red Lion in Dinas Mawddwy I'd highly recommend as one of the best pubs in Wales. Good bunch of locals with top notch home cooked food with plenty of it for us farmer types who like a good plateful of locally produced food.

Yea, nice little town.

Also fully booked!!
Unless you need to take the Newtown Llanidloies route to Aber when you get to Welshpool take the A458 towards Llanfair Caereinion where you could try the
Goat hotel. good beer and decent no nonsense food ,
5/6 miles further on there's the Cann office hotel not been there for a few years so cant
comment.
Failing those you could carry on to Mallwyd and try the Brigands inn, by now its less
than a couple of miles to the Red lion in Dinas Mawddwy as has already been mentioned.

Can't you stay in Aber?

Last time I was up that way, I sold the last of my rams to a feller in Dolgellau and stayed at the Marine Hotel (mostly because I used to wash pots there as a student).

You can then have a night up Rummers or something.

Have you seen what they charge? And without breakfast!!
I prefer to stay at a place with a sensible price and spend a bit more on food and drink!

I think I got my room on some sort of last minute deal thingy.
There's some nice B&Bs over by North Beach
I've found the Glyn Garth to be nice - again I mostly stayed there because they were really nice to my folks when they stayed up there during my stay in Bronglais.

Try Cwmwythig at Lovesgrove roundabout, about a mile from Aberystwyth. They have accommodation both sides of town and possibly in town. Also B&B at the farmhouse itself, if they still do that. Plenty of places to dine in town, including a MackyD.

Many thanks for help.
Had to resort to Maesmawr at Newtown.
All the recommendations you have kindly sent to me have all been full, even the Travelodges!!

Wales is full.
Must be all these staycations.
