Those pistol grips are great but sometimes you need a proper lever gun to get some pressure behind a blocked nipple. Jcb lever gun (free with two boxes blue grease) and a John deere pistol grip (and yes, my arse still hurts from that one)

Always end up buying longer pipes for them too if the the long pipe from the old one is shot.

I bought a pistol grip Lube Shuttle after a similar thread on here in the past. I wouldn’t go back now as the job is so much cleaner & easier.

Grease cartridges are slightly dearer but if you have livestock you don’t get through too many.? If you miss getting covered in grease too much, I understand you can always save some pennies be refilling the cartridges.

as I always recommend, alemite a500-never air locks, never jams, just put a cartridge in and pump it back out. first one that wasn't new did 7 years, second one did 4 years before I managed to damage the cylinder so now on number 3. tried a Milwaukee fuel one that the guy I was working for had brought but all it seemed to do was air lock and cover itself in grease, would have an alemite battery one but don't want a second set of batteries as I've already got Milwaukee tools.

Fuchs gun, long hose and G coupler nozzle.

I like the idea of battery operated guns but they are still messy things and I don't like to see bushes dripping in grease from an over enthusiastic greasing
