Which electric farm vehicle?

I can’t find one. 4wd, auto, 5 seats, load area, tow bar. Something that can do the school run in the morning, then get across farm tracks towing the diesel bowser and carrying tools etc to service the combine. Longest journey it would ever do is 150 miles in a day but that would be rare so battery isn’t the priority. The priority is fuel saving and tax efficiency.

The battery will quickly become a priority when you are towing off road.

The mitsubushi PHEv Outlander is the closest you will get. It has a genuine elctric only range of 28miles so probably enough for school run. The caravan lot rate it highly so it will carry your tools and bowser ok. Its ok off road if you are careful.

An electric quad would be great for rabbit shooting. The engine noise of my Honda is well known to the local rabbits and they take appropriate evasive action.

But something that runs on methane would make more sense.

Those requiring horses, please apply by PM.

LR have a fully electric range rover sport doing the rounds. 225 miles on a battery though as a friend has it over a weekend. Said it was a lovely vehicle and very responsive.

No alternative but diesel and petrol to be illegal in 15 years? Surely this can't include commercials.
Of course there is an alternative, synthetic fuels from other sources such as food waste, plastic, bio mass etc. That's whats happening in California where companies are running their fleets on these non fossil fuels and there are signs of the great EV push faltering. But hush, we aint meant to be talkng about these things, too much money invested in backward battery power!

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
