Why aren,t grain bins used more in the UK

Bins have a steep roof and less roof area per bin

There’s some 100ft? wide timber framed sheds in America/Canada where there’s lots of snow

Here’s some of the sheds at the farm I’m calving at. Massive, wood, dirt floors, different types of doors or no doors at all, and all plugged of equipment.

And most of the main bin yard.

Sweep auger is helpful. Emptied plenty flat bottomed ones with no sweep though.
