You spin me right round, baby

Speed.

At the moment, even if everything is working fine and the lazer/camera picks up the cow straight away and the teats are lined 4 square with the back ones slightly lower than the front, it will still take the machine 1'20" to attach including prep.
However as mentioned, I think an autonomous fast(er) pre-prep arm will be the way to go with a human at Cups On and likely to be commercially viable within 5 years
Have a look at green source automation in the states. Not sure if it the finished article yet but auto pre cleaning certainly on its way

Can't say too much ATM as there is a lot of sh!te flying around but all will be revealed in due course.

No robots will be here until the platform is spinning
I didn't think you where going to be milking them by hand. Have they all got homes to go too?

On another note, I believe your going to Europe soon, looking at cow's/dairys. One of my mates is going, hope you can drink........ because he sure can.

Think they have found new homes. Son is in charge so I am never quite sure what's happening TBH

No, nothing planned for Europe although Mrs BR has booked our annual holiday for York & its surrounds for mid May.
Would like to go to the US to see some of these mega dairies. Can't get my head around the scale of these places

Do you have any ideas about which dairys you would like to visit here?

My son pervs Milk Source & River View.

I think that is where he gets his inspiration from ... and I get my perspiration

TBH, I can't get my head around the size and scale of large American dairy units

Neither can I. I appreciate systems and like to see a well run one, but my interest quickly fades when it comes to mega dairys. To each their own I reckon.

You are welcome to come visit here if you ever make it over.
