That's the answer I was hoping for. Do you know if it is a genuine 8m and not a few inches short like some of the others? Looking for something to work in 8m controlled traffic

Nobody on hear thinks Simba Express then or am I getting to old, that would have been my first choice.
If you want exact 8 m ,terry will make it to what you want ,
Sorry to jump in, how do you find the invertamax at shallow depths? I just think looking at the dished disks they may not work very well shallow?

I think that’s the big difference, there are only a few makes that do the shallow notched disc rather than the big scalloped disc which in my opinion is the main requirement for working the full width of the machine at less then 2 inch depth.

Philip Watkins would make a true 8m machine also Horsch should have a true 8m joker. Personally for my 8m controlled traffic I have gone for a 925 carrier.
it just over 8meter.
might be selling out 6m with cross cutter front roller and bio drill
not quite made up my mind yet though

Does anyone run the Weaving short disc? They rarely seem to get a mention above the Proforge brand but look very similar money. Are they not as good?

We have one. Demoed a Joker, Carrier and Weaving before buying. Horsch didn't perform as well. Liked the Carrier but not the price. Didn't produce a £25,000 better seedbed and bought the Weaving. Never tried a Proforge to compare.

You could probably buy an old Simba solo for not a lot of money, replace the discs and check the bearings, lift the legs up a bit and it would do a similar job, no?
No. Just no. Any big discs are different.
