Good heavens, I was unaware that the musings of Cassius, were reserved for any self appointed individual or group to quote!
He's long dead and his wisdom is free for all to learn from, certainly. What surprised me was your being so enamoured of a man who was such a champion of democracy (for his time), and you a fan of the EU... :)

BBC has become very much like the guardian, it's trying it's damnedest to appeal to the younger audience and so it's basically become a liberal mouthpiece now. They will portray anything they can in a way that gives them the maximum exposure in an effort to appeal and appease as many folk as they can. It's days as an impartial and objective broadcaster are over. I will not pay for it when it becomes a subscription service. I'd sooner watch Al Jazeera which has a more international range rather than trying to endlessly shove the plight of the next group of complainers in your face.

That'll be the liberal mouthpiece that had Nigel Farage on Quesion Time more than anyone else from any political party?

THe more of your posts I read, the more I think you are a simply racist rather than clever.
Then you haven't read my posts and are lying to appear well-informed. You'll not find anything written by me, anywhere, that does anything other than oppose the idea that people should be treated differently / antagonistically due to their race. I don't think they should be and have never espoused such things.

You reckon I have posted such stuff? Produce it, or shut up and go away with your unpleasant lies.

I eliminated the possibility of cleverness a long time ago to be honest. The other bit, I held back on.
Oh dear, oh dear, someone irrelevant has written something that doesn't matter and - entirely unsurprisingly - has thrown what they probably think is the ultimate stinging insult, how will I survive?

That written, the tag of 'racist' coming from you is, at least, from someone who writes with authority.

I suppose this article from the BBC website is yet more nauseating, self serving drivel, based on nothing other than falsehoods and fake news.
China are well entitled to be outraged, and the TFF extreme right wingers, should be organising a class action against the Beeb. No prizes for guessing who will lead the legal team.

When you say the EU is fairly shite, I assume you mean so incredibly shite, you could stick a dog turd on top of a chicken shite mountain, and it still wouldn't come close to the shittyness we've had to endure since 1972 ?

As I recall dog turds were the least of your worries in 1972. I’ll not remind you of what your real issue was, as I think it wouldn't be fair to “re-traumatise”, especially in these challenging times.
But I’ll give you a hint. Grasping at the nearest economic life raft, whilst the water was pretty well stocked with IMF sharks.

We had plenty of trauma to worry about in the early 70's. Not least our skirt shops.....(n)

Another most informative programme from the BBC World Service. We should be proud of our Public Service Broadcasting station the BBC. World Class.

That is great that you are enjoying the BBC world service. However, I don't want to listen to it and I sure as hell don't want to pay for it. You like it, you pay the subscription. Can't be fairer than that.

You want to be careful shouting around the IMF much, the UK has investor confidence and can issue bonds, the last time Ireland had the pinch the UK turned up the shillings for you or else it would have been the IMF and your Moody's rating.
