Up and down the country there's a Costco. I have one 20 miles away at the end of the M56... I've another one just off the M60 in Oldham 7 miles from the other house.
Quick Google says that there's only one in Wales and nearest one selling fuel is Bristol!

Sister and husband used to live near Cardiff and were always raving about Costco

Our nearest is in England... Just over the Border..

We have a wander around but rarely buy much... I find it's not cheap. Same as a Makro.

The fuel I buy as I'm passing and it's cheaper and sometimes the Tyres work out OK.

The FuelGenie (supermarket fuel) card we use has no monthly fee, it’s just charged at the pump price. The only real advantage is that I get to download the invoice, rather than have to continually chase up Mrs NeilO for them.

How much is the surcharge mentioned there?
Don't know, only really bought white diesel with it, had some red diesel out of the pump with card at local Oil4Wales depot once that was very expensive though.
They tell you in the small print that the price will be different in some of the supermarket that take the card, basically not to use it as pump price may be cheaper!
There's a warning on the bills, I'd look one up but I'm not at home ( in sunny Dorset visiting daughter)
Edit. There's no fee with Oil4Wales card, which has put me off some cards

We are on 103.12 next week down by 0.16 from last week (And we get 0.5ppl of Nectar points as well)

So that is effectively a VAT inclusive pump price of 123.15 for next week ..... We do get folk ringing up with "Prospecting" prices but the have never been more that 0.5 ppl better and past experience tells me that they may not last - Our current rates are linked to the Rotterdam Platts rate and consistently some 7 to 9 p below the regular forecourts and NEVER seen a supermarket get close. And our price of 103.12 still stands at M/Way services (Tamworth showing over 125.83 + VAT = 151...!!)

Thats on a Wex (Esso) card with fortnightly DD billing.
101.58 shell, I’m mostly bulk as it’s normally 2ppl cheaper but was not the case last summer.

Why on earth would anyone use a card to pay £1.56 for fuel? :scratchhead:
I think perhaps it starts off with a competitive price which slowly rises, ours did.
I compared prices with a neighbour's O4W card one day, Certas were about 3p higher so I got a new O4W card and never used Certas again. I still had Certas txts which went up and up. I think they must rely on people never checking their invoices
