having problems with pollen/ dust build up on the netwrap a funny fix that we were told about for a jd 575 net problem every new net blather it in talcum powder and the feed roller as well then you don't get any grief.
we started using covernet and all problems stopped after that. covernet seems the best for my new holland 640 as well wont feed the black and white netwrap in just does the middle 2ft nowt else

Has it got a build up of chaffy dust in the right hand door where the belt that drives the better is?
Good starting spot.
If you get off and look while it should be netting the belt be slipping because chaff holds tensioner off

There's 4 rubber strips these bend back sometimes. Make sure these are straight.

Another thing is make sure feed roller is swinging in. Ours stopped doing that.

Make sure the knife isn't in. This doesn't let net into chamber.

If you look in the side where duplex chain turns rotor you can see its range of travel. Net can go round the end of roller not letting if fully swing in. Also check the belt is okay that drives the roller. Take the belt off and turn it by hand, have had bearing go on that roller too.

If you put it into manual and just power net drive, where is net getting too, bunching up?

Net I can reach down over top of plate that goes over net roll between net rollers and belts and get hold of it and pull it further into chamber.

Obviously when baler is shut off

That moving feed in roller isn't rotating I've had that before.
If you watch while it's supposed to be netting off the belt maybe spinning but the roller and pulley isn't. Had same fault

I don't like the fact that the balers with the extra bars welded on the intake roller only last so long!!! Mc hale told me that was a permanent fix! As for shining the baler up I've done over 6000 bales in the 1st season, it wasn't any better. Time will tell wether the mod works,
You have done everything that I would have,I cant suggest any thing else. As I've posted before probably the biggest disappointment in machinery purchase I've ever had!!.
I must say, whilst not the biggest disappointment I can’t see what all the fuss about McHale is. I bought a baler on recommendations here and sold it after the first season and the mower whilst being strong is massively heavy! I won’t bother looking there again.
