Which Flail mower to buy

Hi
Im looking for a very good top quality verge flail mower about 1200mm to use on my solis 26hp tractor, I'm after something that will withstand some serious work doing many hours, each week. It will be used for long grass, brambles, scrub land etc.

I dont mind paying top money for a top quality product

What would you suggest that will give me years of service with little issues
Thanks

We currently use an offset flail on the 26hp tractor with no issue at all, the tractor is absolutely fine running a 1.2m flail but its the quality of our flail thats the problem its fell to bits in less than 100 hrs of use and we were told it was a good make when we bought it

We cant go any bigger with the tractor or it wont fit where we need it down the river banks as the banks are narrow in places

Have a look at the Dragone flail supplied by Kilworth machinery. I have one on a Massey 135 which has stood up to cutting brambles, brash and long grass over several years now. It has a hydraulic offset which may be useful to you too.

What make was that? There’s some awful sh!te out there that looks the part.
Don’t think there’s a huge amount to choose between most of the Italian brands.
Muthing Kuhn INO Delmorino maschio etc would be the premium brands

If you want a recommendation, perhaps suggest what NOT to buy?
