I had the super short chop intake gears for mine, memory bit hazy but I think around 5mm!
I kept the blowing paddles in as well as the serrated paddles and ran everything as fast as it would go, 1150 on the shaft I think, high speed input on the PTO gear box on forager, I always thought a processor on the spout would make the job!

No whole grains got through, looked like had been macerated

Has nobody hatcheted an old self propelled and put some link arm brackets on it?

I thought it was a mengele, god they were ugly things.

The farmer made it himself using an old combine.

Mengele did make a flywheel self propelled from the flywheel unit, the SF300/400, they did'nt look much better.
