Skilled farm worker on mixed beef, sheep and arable farm near Bangor on Dee, Wrexham.

An exciting opportunity has arisen on our family farm, lambing 1100 ewes/ewe lambs indoors, finishing 250 beef cattle, cropping consisting of cereals and roots along with agri-environmental work.

The role is varied including animal husbandry, tractor and loader driving and general farm maintenance.

The successful applicant must have full UK driving and trailer licence, with livestock experience preferred. Additional training can be provided/supported for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone with a hardworking and enthusiastic attitude to their work, attention to detail is essential.

Pay is dependant on experience. Full and Part-Time work available.

A man has pleaded guilty at Newtownards Magistratesโ€™ Court to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in Newtownards, Co. Down.

Gareth Gill (51) of Abbotโ€™s Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to two charges under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, for which he was fined ยฃ150 each and ordered to pay a ยฃ15 offenderโ€™s levy

On June 25, 2018, PSNI officers went to Gillโ€™s yard, where they found a large amount of waste consisting of scrap wood, pallets, carpet and underlay.
