I was going to shell out for latitude, but it's looking like another month before we start. Will up seed rate.

I'll be sowing sum nxt few days with latitude.
Mid Oct is often game over up here, maybes not this year tho.
By heck the ground is dry atm
Take All does what it says up here.
Use Latitude no Take All so far.

2nd Wheats here don’t often break the 5t/ha barrier, W Barley normally gets to 7.5t/ha
But maybe I’m just a crap farmer

2nd wheat after three year grass break are my highest risk. Most people f mine ore 5th cereals this year due to osr failure.

One cannot beat continuous wheat provided bg can be controlled. That’s why I am once again assessing the very green nature of some bean straw.

If you’ve experienced take all in wheats you may change your mind. Nearly all 2nd wheats on chalk will have Latt as it’s not worth the risk having been hit 2 years ago with take all

Or Dust in barley, puddle in wheat. Which is a saying locally that I was reminded of today .
To be fair, wheat is very resilient . Some we drilled last year when we really shouldn’t have been in the field, yielded very well.
