6930 / 6630 / 6430

Ok advice sought .
Looking at second hand tractor for us .
Will mostly do hay and silage work , but needs to be versatile and will have a loader .
We would like the option to put a combi baler behind it later ( if we can afford one ) also be able to run our conventional baler if required.
A lot of hill work , and lifestyle type properties.
So was thinking originally of 6630P , but then started looking at 6930P as more available and better specs for money , but talking to the old boy , he is concerned that 6930 be to much hp for some of our smaller implements like conventional baler etc , and cumbersome with loader work. I liked the idea of 6 cyl engines for hill work and larger frame for round baler on on hills etc.
Would a 6430 handle a combi baler on hills ok ?
How are the 6 cyl tractors in comparison for loader work ? mostly loading bales.
Is a 6930 to much power for a conventional baler? ( damage drive line )
6630 and 6430 not much in hp difference , what is the rear lift like , and pulling power?
Any way very long winded but thanks for any advice.

I ran a 7530 on one fusion and more often than not a 6430 on the other fusion and my personal preference was the 6430 as she was remapped and would match the 7530 everywhere and pull it everywhere as well with the only real exception was water logged ground .
I had a 6330 for many years and she handled a five furrow reversable Dowswell plough very well with decent amount of weights in front.

Big one will pull a little machine but will a little one pull a big machine?

I was using the twin rotor rake today. 80hp would pull it just fine I’m sure, we had the T7 on it though and was trundling along at 1180rpm.

As far as grip on hills go a 30 series deere wouldnt be the best. For a combi baler a 6pot would be better. A 30 series deere is a good reliable tractor. If it was me id be lookin at a 68 or 6930 standard as theres less sensors to go wrong

Now Then..
In a confined space, a 6 pot tractor will be similar to a supertanker with loader to manoeuvre. I've baled with a conventional baler on a Same Silver 130 with no issues, just go steady..
A 6430 premium could be big money as they're pretty awesome for power to weight and manoeuvrability. 4 pot tractor will obviously be lighter.. 6 pot one may be cheaper in a way as they're not as nimble etc.. Get one of each, or 2 less expensive brands??
Just thoughts obviously..

Who’s remap did you have on the 6430?
Must of been a handy tractor!

Finding a tidy 6430 with a loader for under £30k will be your next problem! Not much difference in money compared to a 6120R unless really high houred

We have both a 6430 power quad with a loader (remapped) and a 6930 autopower untouched . The 64 will do absolutely everything the 69 will do and will grip on a hill very nearly as well pulls 5 furrows better to be honest but struggling to lift it . The 69 is pretty manouverable with the turn stops maxed out but the 4cyl is better in a tight space. I wouldn't worry about too much hp as you'll know what the baler and smaller implements can do

Without remapping a 6430 will be a tad small. Our 6630 managed a Fusion 2 as standard, but we added a bit of oomph to it and now it handles the Fusion very well. Isn't that big and pretty nimble for a 6 pot.

Always the 6534 to consider - length of the 6 cyl without over kill on the hp - they also dont hold their money like the rest of the 30's. Have that remapped and she'd go as well as a 68 if needed.

Forgot about those. What do they map at about 150-160hp?
