That JD NR on the gasket is interesting.
i looked it up in the jd parts portal but it dosent come up as a part used, its about the only way of reverse searching so im only going on what the putter said.
it looks like a jd number for sure but it seems its ahead of its time possibly.

I know this is an old thread but I’m currently rebuilding my jd 6830. Due to a dropped valve. Do you think it would be worth installing the pre rad for the charge cooler like you’ve done

It would be much more worthwhile to have the EGR delete in both hardware and software which drops coolant temps 5 degrees and charge temps by 15c.

It only becomes desirable on the 75 which runs more boost pressure than the smaller models.

Where have you been @Rusty#1 ? Hope everything is good.

I’m still here just not as often! A little girl/family life now occupys most my spare time

So I downscaled the contracting and do more haulage than anything now walking floor/low loader and curtain side,
still have 7710/cutter & your topper still going strong :)

Also had 2 and a half years with 2 bulldozers stockpiling woodchip/sawdust in a local factory which has now just come to a end,

Up to you Tom I did it and always thought it worked well would keep pretty reasonable temps even on 6m Power Harrow/press, and too my knowledge is still going strong now

Pleased to hear the update and your doing ok !
What was all the woodchip/dust for and why the end, retender? Must be a huge fire risk in that heap?

Woodchip is in local chipboard/MDF factory, on a massive scale, and it’s ended because they’ve built storage silos so wagons tip and it gets conveyed into the silo then straight into factory.....or at least that’s the theory, as for fire it’s used that quick generally it doesn’t seem a issue, I believe there have been problems in the past but not really in the 10 years I’ve been in and out of there, was essential to keep the dozers well blown off every hour if pushing dusty recycled chip, not so bad in virgin chip or sawdust, I have a transit service van with built in hydrovayne ex gas board really good tool for the job

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
