Has anyone got any recommendations for these mixes? I see they differ markedly in price, quotes I have had so far have ranged from £14k to £54k for 156ha worth with quite a few in-between. And are they 80:20 flower mixes or 85:15. Any particularly good mixes, would rather do it right but £54k seems a tad on the high side!!!

For that quantity you would want to buy through @Farmdeals, but this is the product mix on Farm Marketplace:

Do you have to stick to the 8kg per acre? Or is that their suggestion? I still learning about all this SFI stuff and Lucy asked me the same question when setting them up.
Not a clue, it’s all new to me too!! Most say 20kg/ha which I guess is the same as you suggest!!

This is the mix I drilled a couple of years ago and has established very well.

Many thanks all for your suggestions and “quotes” I have done a deal with Great in Grass for a mix with a few extras included so will let you know how I get on!! Next thing is how to drill it, suspect Vaddy will be the machine I use.

Is it into stubble
But the one main point is those seeds need to go in shallow l
My prefered machine is a Tine Harrow

Some this spring into worked ground and the rest possibly into stubble depending on how bad the WW is re black grass and if we are going to continue with it or glypho, never had a pre emm as too wet.
