Or you decide to start making your own. I’ll post pictures as I get further along.
Just make your own

If the Irish megalomaniac can't be bothered responding when you're trying to buy one of his machines, imagine the trouble you'll have when something goes wrong with it 🙄

Tried to buy from him a few years ago, ended up raiding the scrap pile and made a jig to hold the grinder at the correct angle

Might not be pretty, but it leaves a very sharp, flat ground surface that increases productivity by 37%, reduces fuel consumption by 42%, stays sharper 207% longer, and reduced the amount of money spent by 1000%👍

I tried to contact him about buying a sharpener as well a few years back but he never got back to me either.

Does the machine have a special type of grinding wheel? I was always taught never to use the side of a grinding wheel.

Was that sharpener patent not sold to pottinger or someone like that? Is it available to buy from them. I'm sure I read something about that a few years ago

I take it that you read this thread and are aware of it?
There was a lot of bulls**t above , so I ignored it rather than getting into an argument , when men want to come on here and tell lies and start rumours , just let them off . For example there one guy posting above saying I wouldn’t sell him a machine and that I wouldn’t get back to him , he offered be a lot less money than the selling price and got annoyed when I didn’t accept his offer , so fools like that just get ignored. And then then that other guy started putting up pictures of his attempt to copy my machine , this is 100 % illegal, and the admins should have deleted it. I’ll say no more .

what is illegal about a guy building a machine to sharpen knives? goweil had a machine on the market for grinding their blades. You adapted the concept using a wet grinding wheel and making it so it could move in both directions.
the person above has posted a picture of a motor with a grinding wheel on a frame. Nought illegal about that. What have you patented on your machine that means the picture above is infringing your patent?

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
