Cheers pine guy and phil the cat.he didnt sell to bad either really at £2.59/kg. Yours is a very good heifer, as phil says, they are all good as long as they are earning afew quid. His mother is very average little cow but is by blue bull tweeddale ebony and throws a certain style

Impressive price, well done! What weight was he out of interest? And how old?

@haymaker80 he left here at 600 kg and off the top of my head he's 20/21 months. I didn't get down the market to see him sold but I guess probably 560/70kg over market scales

Half the field is being silage! Spread fert on that side, the other side hasn't had any so going to strip graze into it. Might end up silaging some of that depending on how long it stands them! Turned out this morning, up to their knees :facepalm:
Just been to a grass let on farm tonight, looked like a neat trimmed law compared to that. 100kg/acre 20:10:10 applied yesterday. let till mid October for grazing, 108acre averaged £194/acre...........so you must have leaves of gold there!

Christ that's good money. be cheaper to fill a waggon and take grass keep down here. £100 per acre if your lucky down here.
