A bit off topic but what would e everyone suggest adding with an SU for BLW control in spring barley post GS 31. Normally I just go with a hormone usually mcpa but because of a lack of weeds and drought stress causing the barley to start to run I'm having to go late than I normally would. The only options i can see are fluroxypry based but iv never used a lot of it and from the label I cant see what it would add much to what I want to control.
I really rate starane. Just the straight stuff, brings way more to the party than what’s on the label. Good on black bindweed which you mentioned somewhere. Even at just half a litre. Which SU are you using and why? I think mcpa as advertised elsewhere can be used after 32 which helps particularly with thistles and poppies I believe. Will you be putting fungicide in the same pass? Mines moved on so fast I think I will.

I think I've only ever used a couple bottles of Hurler( generic starane) all the while I've been spraying.
I've heard it adds more to the mix than the label states and I had in mind I'd use it this year.

Probably go half rate ally max or on one field which always has plenty of mayweed types I go 15gms thor(tibenuron).

Mcpa, 24d and cmpp all have gs31 for spring barley from what I've seen unless theres a specific brand which has a later cut off.

I'm not sure what to do in regards to herb and fungicide. It's ready for a t1 and will need some MN asap but the weeds are only now germinating and I think there could be more to come, saying that I dont want to go through twice in close succession and how spring barley is I think If I kill what's there now itll close over and smother any later germinating weeds.

The later drilled fields got foxtrot yesterday so itll be a week before I can get back into them so itll work right to do everything in one tank.
