Years ago, yes.Was thinking not so much about the net that can be got but polywire 4 or so lines its got to be perimeter fenced with electric for sheep anyway.....
At least you know where you went wrong!they're really hammering new grass seeds , 'course if it had been direct drilled they wouldn't have touched them at all
Take them off itthey're really hammering new grass seeds , 'course if it had been direct drilled they wouldn't have touched them at all
eh how? shooting so many and totally is a bit laborious ....
I know you said not net, but since we're talking rabbit fencing, i bought 250m of electric rabbit net last year, after a entire side of a field of forage rape was getting decimated...... net stopped it them totally
Same net now protecting some kale and turnips
Run the 250m net off a 3j energiser, 110a battery and 50w panel
funny i was up mv today and just clocked a few rolls on the shelf, but it werent cheap.
could be an answer to the worst of it , i think 2 hedges are where they are in most numbers could polywire the rest with a few close wires at the bottom.
most of the otherside perimeter is the neighbours so we have no control over that in respect of shooting anyway.
they devastate little grass seedlings, eat off the first leaf like a slug would,it then dies as theres no root anchorage let alone any root reserve.
but theyre everywhere, i think rabbit shooters or netters etc get a bit overwhelmed or bored even with them possiblySurely somebody would be glad to come an deal with them for you?
No rabbits in real numbers around here, some young lads would be glad of your permission I bet, sure if you asked at market or other likely spots, somebody would know some honest lads who’d relish the challenge!! Ferreting great sport but lamp an rifle would sweep them up if you hit them hardbut theyre everywhere, i think rabbit shooters or netters etc get a bit overwhelmed or bored even with them possibly
bit of disease but doesn't remove numbers to a noticeable degree .
Devonshire, youre welcome but fair way to drive ...?Which part of the country are you in ?
trouble is cant drive, or even walk on new seeds without making a scummer .Light 4x4 a decent lamp and .22lr and I good friend to either drive and lamp or shoot last few times I’ve been out I’ve got 70+
