Hi, I’m looking a gps tracker for a quad for spreading fertiliser pellets. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Easy set up and not too pricey would be great, thanks

Am I right in thinking that the above options would be no more accurate than a phone based GPS app using an external antenna? i.e. down to about 1m accuracy.

I find with quad and trailer sprayer if I set it at 11.5m I don’t miss anything. Good enough for the grassland jobs it does

No, both the teejet and trimble use the free egnos correction signal which brings the accuracy down to no more than 30cm. Often much less so quite useful.

Egnos is Europe, Waas is the US equivalent, have you similar?

That's interesting. I personally use my eyecrometer, it's near enough but it leaves a lot to be desired.

A quick google suggests that Australasia has SouthPAN. I know nothing about it, I'm sure some of the Aussie farmers on here will be a bit more clued up. I might look into this a bit more, thank you.
