This should allow you to connect a standard 4 pin camera to the datatronic screen

That looks very similar to what I need to fit into a valtra smart touch screen. Does anybody know if it’s the same? I was once told they were the same as a vario terminal but have tried a lead for that and it is completely different

I usually just order a box full of reverse cameras from China, something like this would be ideal for in a front hopper, I usually just cut the plug off and fit my own.

The one I have at the moment doesn’t have any lights on it so I struggle to see in the tank once the sun is over the horizon! I’ll get round to putting a light in at some point.

Right, I'm pretty pathetic when it comes to electrics. Spoken to the dealer who wants £350 for a camera kit that fits to the datatronic in a 6716. If a buy a camera with a 4 pin plug and the adaptor earlier mentioned in this thread will it work or do I need another power source. They seem to think it quite complicated to set up???

I just bought some cameras from “reversing cameras uk”. old stock/or repair straight out of box(never been fitted)7 inch heavy duty monitor and new camera with leads. £85. years warranty. Think it’s better to have a separate screen as you loose to much information of the tractor screen. I bought a couple of eBay too for £25. They are still going strong, but the build quality and weight of the others is higher. Will see how they compare

Yea but in this bloody tractor is already the datatronic box a field Star 5 box and the horsch box. So was hoping to make use of the existing screen.

Also just to clarify. That cable above says it's for datatronic 4. Is this the same as datatronic ccd which is what the book says or am I getting totally mixed up?

This guy will supply you with cable, much cheaper than dealer. I've one from him running through new Holland intelliview 4, not been any bother.

Id recommend going for camera with 4 pin plug. They are much better quality in my opinion. I'd a cheaper one before and didn't last.
