Case led lights

The images of lights posted suggest they are decent quality and hence the good reviews. Cannot fault the price either.

Led's for this style of light will come in 10 or 15 watt output per chip therefore without knowing for certain the example with 4 led could be 4 x 10w making a 40w light or more likely from the positive comment it be 4 x 15w making a 60w light. I would say unlikely the image with 6 led in the screen are 6 x 15w = 90 watt output. 90w would combine to be a pretty high current load if with a full set.

Shape and dimensions resemble a JD R series work light for which we used to have that lens style of 6 (60w) or 8 (80w) single led lights spread over the light face. We have now evolved into the new style as in attached image and by all accounts this is a superb performer at 60 watt, exceeding the OEM led lights on a JD. Part number UTV359. First glance the row of led may not be what you expect but does look the part when fitted and comes with Deutsch connector in the housing.

I will post up if find exact one as either yours.
Just a thought on your comments about the Case lights, I would have thought that as Case seem to offer 2 types of light, 4 or 6 LED, if the 4’s were 15w output and the 6’s 10w they’d be the same overall output which then begs the question, why have two types.

Does anyone know who makes the led work lights on new case's. Had one on demo and the lights were fab but couldn't see a name on them and would like to buy some for our loader if they're not too expensive, thanks

Nordic Lights are an OEM supplier. They manufacture an Oval light in the Go Series range called the Antares Go 625.

£75 for one lamp, shop around and one would get half a dozen...
Thats true, but you get what you pay for. I have had a Nordic on the back of my car as a reverse light. Its been on 5 vehicles and has covered 200,000 miles in salty rubbish. It still looks and works perfect. The cheap ones i bought dont!.
Thats the joy of the internet. You can buy on quality with the likes of Nordic or UTV or you can take your chances.
The back up from both Graham and Martin on their products is excellent!. Have never heard anyone complain only praise.

Bought the 80w version last year as the originals were looking sad from being upside down, a super light output from them, make the rest look like candles.

Understand your thinking. A better quality of light will bring a crisp clean lighted area with detail and colour of what you see as opposed to a more bleached white mass from cheaper lights which initially impresses because better than what you had before but with little definition or detail in what it lights up. There is a definite difference in lighted area experience and calmness on your eyes.

Not wishing to convert or change anyone's thinking but just saying.

You must be as old as myself with memories of that single plough lamp and if you had two then that was special. Super Major, MF65, 175, 188, County 1124 with Lambourne cab.

I don't know whether I'm that old or just worked for folk that ran old tractors :scratchhead:
Left school in 1989 but my bosses newest tractor was a 2wd Ford 7600 with the fancy pants Q cab and 2 spot lights on the back, think it was a T reg(y)
The 7000 only had 1.
Brilliant tractors.
