Anyone had problems with these not linking to an implement, got a drill on isobus now, Puma refuses to connect and load on screen but is communicating by the looks as the drill has lights flashing on the units inside drill, the tractor links fine to a Amazon spreader. The drill also connects to our valtra no problem.

You have to upgrade software version on AFS 700.

What type of drill are you running, the problem with isobus in general is its compatibility or in some cases the lack of it. Whilst most of this may have been resolved there could still be kit out there that doesnt support each other. Ive just been trying to get the AEF database to work with no success at all. It could be just an update on the tractor or the implement.

Mzuri, which runs on RDS bits. I’ve taken my Puma GPS kit to be updated, so with any luck I’ll see in a few days if that works. The valtra is nearly new so would have the latest software, so it’s believable it’s the problem.

Some ISO implements require a minimum of 10 soft keys (buttons) on the VT screen.
Earlier software versions on the AFS display only supported 6 keys.
With the later software it is possible to switch between 6 soft keys and 12 soft keys.
You can do that in Toolbox > VT

That may be a setting worth trying to adjust for your issue.
The fact that the spreader loads ok confirms it’s not a connector or wiring issue.

Thanks , I tried it on 6 and 12, no luck, the Amazon had the coloured loading blocks in the top right boxes, the Mzuri never did, I’m hopeful that having it all updated this weekend will solve it!

Sadly the update doesn’t seem to have solved it, hopefully make some calls tomorrow to get help on it.
I don’t know if this settings page is correct, I’ve tried it on 6 and 12 soft keys, there’s versions 2,3&4 available, I’ve tried all 3. I’ve found an icon that says VT upload, with a (I’m guessing) loading bar under it, that’s not doing anything.

what year is the tractor? older CNH machines dont have the ignition pin in the isobús socket in the back. some implements need the ignition to start the ecu and some dont.
