claas vario or what ever its called any good?

I ve seen a few for sale lately even over here and they seem reasonably priced I remember something being said a while ago that after a certain year they were better(perhaps someone can find it for me) any users have any comments or any horror stories?
Is it the same box in the 4 & 6 cylinder arion
Im probably looking at the new shape model that was from about 2013, did they have an up grade with the change in front axle?
The shape seems to have stayed the same and the models numbers havent altered like some makes who add some thing extra each time they make an update
Any info greatly appreciated

Arion cmatic vario only started in 2015 I know this because we hired a claas arion for 2 yrs and I got the option of a cmatic but got taken for a go in an axion . I know a lad who did get 1 in 2015 and it was a real dog of a thing it was plagued with issues.

I l ow of a 660 locally I think it'll be 2yrs old at most and its been fine and they love it

I like the 650 cis+ 4700 hrs 6 yr old been fine bar silly things like door handles & gas struts . Only been on light jobs like spraying tho round baler. Thinks need checking in them tho the rear hitch came loose and about 6 hyd pipes under the cab I had to tighten up.
660 next will it pull as well ?

We've got a new 660 in March. Really like the tractor so far.
The gearbox does have a few settings where you can either load the transmission or the engine depending what jobs it's on. We do alot of baling with outs, driven on pedal mode it comes to a stop pretty good without using the brakes at all.
The one really good feature I like is when you've got a trailer on with air brakes if you pulll back on the stick it activates the trailer brakes which is really good I find.
It's still early days yet but overall it's a good tractor with a really good dealer backup

She must be thirsty if thats the case as a 30 series liked a drink. Youd wonder they dont fit a cummins or deutz in all thier tractors as its not a competitor of thiers
650/660 claas is the R series engine . The old shape was always an engine behind the deere but the new shapes from 2013 ish deere started supplying them the current engine for emissions regs . So no surprise it'll use more than a 30 series

It was only the early c matic in the arion that gave issues
