DAP on grazing grassland?

Never used it here, but my agronomist is suggesting it might make sense (depending on fresh soil tests) to use DAP next time on some of the PP, as the sewerage sludge applications will have essentially run out now, after many years since applications were put on in liquid form. The P indices were rather high...

I have seen some indications online that there needs to be an interval between applications and grazing. If so, what timescale do folks follow?

On productive grassland phosphate can definitely be a limiting factor until soil temperatures start to rise in late spring. DAP will definitely give a positive growth response but
last time I checked it was well north of £1000/t, so it would never be an economic response.

I am sussing out costs.... Agronomist (no axe to grind as not a fert seller) suggested DAP is better value for money than TSP.... as it comes with a belt of N too.

However, maybe the results will come back all rosy and sun shining.....

Is grass used for grazing only? Or cuts of hay/silage taken off them?
If only the former you might be surprised at the levels of P, ie still high or high enough.
