I thought we are moving towards free market and let supply and demand rule according to local rules and regulations.
It is strange never asked about how much of potatoes, veg, have in store etc. Or animals going to slaughter in next few months etc. Why just one commodity?
And why do we need the civil service to manage us. FFS the first question is do you have grain in store? What is grain...... wheat, barley, oil seed rape, rye, oats, beans, linseed, maize etc. Talk about vague!! You could never fill a DEFRA bps form in using the code grain..
