Would you go ploughing with a flipping boom on the front! I hate loaders with a vengeance when you’re trying to do anything rather than use them to lift something!! Having one hanging off the front with a plough woukd be a massive PITA!!

Why? It hardly overhangs more than those weights in the picture. It certainly makes no difference to me as a driver whether the boom is attached or not. I just think that the boom adds around the same or a bit more weight to the front than those weights, with the option of hanging a bucket or grab to the front for even more.

Have you run out of scabs to pick again?
Is your back sympathetically OK from substituting one already attached weight that is quickly and effortlessly removed for a whole lot of heavy castings, probably manually and individually attached and needing removed again before re-attaching the loader boom mass? Or are you just a masochist?
