Have you put Rtk on yours yet @Daniel ?
Why bother with the weights when you could have left the loader boom on?

Would you go ploughing with a flipping boom on the front! I hate loaders with a vengeance when you’re trying to do anything rather than use them to lift something!! Having one hanging off the front with a plough woukd be a massive PITA!!

Surely its each to there own, these modern loaders don't exactly take long to drop on and off nowadaysWhy bother with the weights when you could have left the loader boom on?
No but those weights take a lot more effort to take on and off. They don't stay there when the loader boom is re-attached, otherwise the claim to mechanical sympathy would be very exaggerated.Surely its each to there own, these modern loaders don't exactly take long to drop on and off nowadays
Fair point if the weights have to be put on and off by hand and can't just stay there. No but those weights take a lot more effort to take on and off. They don't stay there when the loader boom is re-attached, otherwise the claim to mechanical sympathy would be very exaggerated.
Have you run out of scabs to pick again? No but those weights take a lot more effort to take on and off. They don't stay there when the loader boom is re-attached, otherwise the claim to mechanical sympathy would be very exaggerated.
Is your back sympathetically OK from substituting one already attached weight that is quickly and effortlessly removed for a whole lot of heavy castings, probably manually and individually attached and needing removed again before re-attaching the loader boom mass? Or are you just a masochist?Have you run out of scabs to pick again?
