Its roughly 100 gallons to do 2×200×50 foot houses rearing to point of lay with a pirtch system in it per crop of birds so 2.5 crops per year average. Cant say litres per hour as its me da that washes and was him was sayin it takes around that amount but could be a bit more tbh

For a chicken shed a 35lt /min at the same pressure would be far better
With a given horsepower, you can get either a high pressure and a lower flow, or vice versa.
Personally, washing , muck off concrete etc a good flow is essential..1500 psi is usually good..too much pressure takes paint, stickers off machinery etc.

Well currently were burning around 100 gallon of fuel to wash the bird houses so was hopeing to half that possibly. Plus theres cattle sheds, machinery, milking parlour and yards to wash at times which all adds up. Plus the handyness of havin a washer that doesnt require gettin a tractor hooked up for small jobs
I hired a trailed one from a local hire company. Double burner. Yanmar engine ran on fumes and awesome output.

The other factor when washing out poultry houses is to use a good detergent to soften dirt. I give the poultry house a run with an orchard sprayer [with two downward jets as well for the floor]. water and detergent then wash ceiling, fans and floor then after midday snack detergent again the feeders and drinkers and just rinse them down with short lance and adjustable nozzle [turbo head is now retired never used]. Then wash walls and floor out.
Wouldn't go to wash out the houses now without the orchard sprayer pulled by orchard tractor with cab and category 4 filters as some of the disinfectants aren't very nice.
Difference is i turn around 6 times[broilers]in a year so its easier to justify more kit.

The bulk of our washing is the pirtch grids so flow isnt mabe the biggest factor as the dirt on them is quite hard. The floor is relatively easy and is aided by the cow shed rubber scrapper

It came from @croppers I'm not sure if his company is still involved in cleaning equipment or not.

We're struggling to get parts for the engine now it desperately needs a starter motor and we can't get 1 and it's a fair pull on the rope to get her going !!
Yes they still do a lot of power washers, Just sold a Robin engine with a good starter on it , I would have thought parts would be no problem as them engines are still made
