Disappointed by cattle hurdles

Took delivery of some cattle hurdles today. Been waiting nearly 6 weeks for them and got to say I am really disappointed by the standard of them. They were relatively cheap, from a new company which I will not name but the welding looks like it was done blindfolded. Am I being too fussy?

£60 each so pretty cheap for cattle hurdles but I cant see them standing up to even a slight bit of pressure or rain for that matter.
Those welds look like they didn't have the gas turned up enough, besides being otherwise awful.

I agree they don't look like they will last 5 mins.
I'd be having a word - preferably to the effect of them going back.

I have had a word but its been such hassle getting them here, I can see my money disappearing if they take them back. It was getting to the stage we never even thought they would turn up. Had 2 cancelled deliveries, 3 weeks overdue so I cant decide whether I am better just banging them in a machinery auction and getting back what I can or sending them back

That welding looks really poor quality, any chance you can contact the supplier and get them to send some others or failing that give you your money back. They will not stand much use.

I don't think they were worth galvanising tbh. But I guess they're cheap and they'll do a job so it wouldn't be worth spending anymore money on it.

Always amazes me how poor gates etc are manufactured, it's not rocket science to weld properly, i have bought 5ft high yard gates from a company and the rails are all over the place, bigger gaps on lower part of gates etc, and they still are being made the same after several years :banghead:

Even at 60 quid, I'd send them back. But I'd want hurdles to last - like the Poldenvales have - and maybe my cattle can push and shove equipment around more than yours.
