Does anyone else find Gatekeeper Support really grumpy?

I reluctantly use Gatekeeper support about once a year. Today I want to find out if there’s a quicker way of doing a repetitive process and they talk to you like you’re completely thick and keep repeating the same sentences.

My job later in the week is going to be looking at other software, fed up with paying them thousands for bad service.

I’d also like to find something else, was looking at the bill today and couldnt work out how it’s broken down. Minds up for renewal in the new year.

Does Greenlight run a Sentinel type system ,this is one of the benefits of G K as an agronomist user! I also use Field Margin and i find it very easy to use but at the moment from what I can see it is not particularly Assurance compliance but I will be corrected please!

I have to say the cost of G K is very expensive for a multi site agronomist package, and I rarely use their support but still have to pay for it!

Yes it does and you can check all recommendations. I do my own agronomy and find this part invaluable in checking the spray plans I produce.

I actually think their support is very good, if I don’t understand I keep asking until I get it, that’s what they are there for and what you pay for.

On the face of it £255 for the package doesnt seem bad value

I don't hesitate to phone them and expect them to sort it asap... they charge so much for support I decided a few years ago to get them to sort any issues!

I find it with my personal software support - my daughter and son. I have to be extra pleasant and receive much antagonism as they show me how to use software functions. Its life. But in your case you do have the option of going elsewhere. Let us know how you get on.

No up front charge to purchase. That is the annual fee to use including all support and upgrades. Support line I have found to be very helpful. They produce many short videos to show you how to perform differing functions which are really useful particularly if you need some help and it’s out of office hours to call somebody.
Farmplan annual support fees are horrendous as I know to my cost on two other programmes that I use.
