Drought Must Be Over!

We have had rain every day so far in March.
This week there has been around half an inch (13mm) every day but today will easily double that and it is still falling down..
The ground can't take any more and we are back to flooding again. I don't mind in January but now that we are lambing it is very hard work and losses will inevitably be an issue, especially with the forecast for much colder coming in and staying unsettled.

I know the last few years we have been spoilt but I would love to have a little drought again.

Sunny days but crappy nights here. At least its warm and they get a chance during the day. Plus side the romney in them makes them fairly hard to kill. Getting a bit tedious though. Not had as much rain per day as that though.

No chance of "a little drought". It's an illness that gets worse every year all around the world and the outlook is not good.

can’t beat a drought here, only time this farm looks good when everyone else has a drought dryer the better I hate rain. And looking at my ewes and lambs so do they.

rain gauge shows 1" 3/4 since end of feb which aint a lot its been showers without a 3 day drying window which has delayed sp barley sowing though fert has all gone on well .The dec/jan period gave us as much as the land would take though without causing any ponding
