It’s a freak show in Glasgow, they are all there.

You‘ve got Greta looking 14 and Joe Biden looking 114.

Maybe they could have a chat and swap tips on looking young/old.

BBC breakfast this morning had a report from someone’s house with an “expert” giving examples of how to reduce carbon output. Ditch the gas boiler (who’s paying?) and reduce meat and dairy consumption by up to 20% because cows fart! Why are we not hearing about all those jet engines in the sky churning out whatever they do over thousands of miles every minute then?

The planes in the sky, or any other polluting activity, are a separate issue to the constant message that red meat and dairy are causing global warming.
Ruminants, wild or domesticated, are not the problem, I have yet to hear any “expert” give a clear and rational explanation as to why cud chewers burps have become so deadly to the planet in the last 200 years or so, when for thousands of years before that they were a benign cog in a natural cycle. In fact,I don’t think I have ever heard the question asked.

How about telling households to buy locally produced items, stop the endless flow of goods travelling half way around the world from the polluting far East, for just a start the government could stop subsidising imported wood chips from clearing forests in the US for us to simply burn whilst at the same time demonising the Brazilians for felling similar trees!
Makes us look like fecking hypocrites!

Also from bbc breakfast this morning, the majority of methane comes from agriculture.

You’d be suprised i once watched a documentary about a year in the english countryside when i was in Beijing. Lots of farming through the seasons on a farm that had SuperQ Ford tractors. All very positive.
