And we used to scoff at communist countries with their own government controlled TV channels pumping out their agenda 24 hours a day..........

Never watched an entire episode of Eastenders. Seen bits of it mind..........Ricky !!! Ricky !!!:ROFLMAO:
What is different is the UK Gov do no control the BBC agenda. BBC agenda is set by the influences of the Guardian, compulsory Sunday reading at the breakfast table for BBC middle class management.

You’d be suprised i once watched a documentary about a year in the english countryside when i was in Beijing. Lots of farming through the seasons on a farm that had SuperQ Ford tractors. All very positive.
I went on a train tour behind the Iron Curtain when I was a student in the 1980s. I looked forward to visiting a war museum as I thought this would give me a good taste of Commie propaganda and I wondered how they would explain the Western victories, but in fact it was fascinating and as even handed as the Imperial War Museum at home, with exhibits of British tanks weapons and a very friendly narrative concerning the former Allies.

’blokes and sheilas‘…….💪🍌
they all seemed very metrosexual to me, nothing like the Australia I remember when I was there (but I worked on farms in the "bush"), suburban Oz is a very different country. I remember hitching a lift and saying to the driver "you know what these cockies are like?" and he had no clue what a Cocky was!

Aussie young farmer over here about 25 years ago, typical stereo typical Aussie male, hard drinking, told it straight as he seen it, he reckoned 25% of Aussie men were gay back then

Typical BBC, large headlines of an agreement to cut methane so the Beeb puts a picture of cows even though they are a very debatable small part of the problem, they mention 40% comes from wetlands how does that sit with ELMS & the green lobby, why not put a picture of oil wells or heavy industry but no it has to pretend cows are the major problem!

Lol how times have changed. In my grandfathers time at 18 you were fighting a war. Now at 18 most of the kids haven’t a clue whats Happening in the world or even what gender they want to be. And don’t even mention having a sense of humour because they dont have one or feel personally offended by something someone said as a joke.

If all these politicians ate really concerned about emissions and global warming then perhaps they should all make a real effort towards global peace. I hate to think how much fossil fuel our MOD get through on a daily basis never mind the yanks and ruskies. The number of huge tank carriers carting tanks (surely a relic from the past) going up and down the A303 and military aircraft flying here there and everywhere never Ceases to amaze me.

Along with tax payers money being wasted playing little boy war games.

Now 18 year olds are struggling to get out of bed and get depressed about getting less likes than their mates got on FB or over a lack messages from random people they don't know on a dating app.

Mrs TM said last night's episode was almost embarrassing the amount of times they tried to shoe horn plant based or vegan into the narrative and then if that wasn't enough into Holby as well 🙈🙈🙈.
Glad I went for a few beers with a mate.

Hopefully if they try too hard it will have the opposite effect, I for one don't like being lectured.

I find the best way to calm down over this is to remember that 85% of vegans throw the towel in after a year. Nature will always find away to restore balance. Sadly it's just an episode in their lives that they want to experience for themselves rather than research and make a sensible choice in the first place. Unfortunately there are a lot of children who don't get to make that choice and are having poor health and development foisted on them by idiot parents, sometimes with lifelong consequences. They are the real victims of this awful propaganda.
