Weirdly cool guard works better than any other coolant in my 6620, personally I would stick with it (as I am).Coming back to this, any comment on cool gard 2 equivalents?
It is slightly insanely priced at €4 a litre, but then again I don't want to skimp.
I tried that, seemed to use coolant, doesn't on coolguard. Someone told me that coolguard has a higher boiling point than other coolants.I use Mannol g13,only running the one Deere now.
And both meet the d4985 requirements, talk about confusin.Well two antifreeze that I use one use nitrates and all the things which are good for anticorrosion and the other makes it sound as if they’re bad because they don’t use itView attachment 1172173
An extract from my John Deere 6145 manual.it says coolant must be the standard astm d6210 . now that’s why I went onto Exol HD green with specification ASTM D6210 because the new Holland coolant container has a specification ASTM D6210 on it ,and dealer says that coolant has all the additives ready in so I thought it would be great in my old Fords .HD green says it has NITRATE in and is well proven to work against corrosion. but the John Deere books says do not use nitrate, but use specification.ASTM D6210.And both meet the d4985 requirements, talk about confusin.
