My tractor broke down and I've missed subsoiling a field I want to reseed with grass, I use a 4 keg erth panbuster, has anyone tried subsoiling on ploughed ground. Would you recommend it
After all rain the last few days Z i wouldnt bother you would only end up creating more compaction than you cure .
After the last 2 months of baking dry heat well at least it was up this side !!! Mother nature should have the job done for you and now that normal wet service has resumed its enough trouble getting it dry enough to till and sow the grass .

I would think you would take a lot of straw up to the surface.

I've been sowing osr onto ploughing today with a subsoiler with legs out a fair bit. (Don't ask!) And was bringing up.a lot of stubble.

I used to struggle to pull the Erth on grass. I don't think you could find enough grip to pull it on the ploughing, unless you're using something big with plenty of weight which sort of defeats the purpose.
What was in the field before it was ploughed? If it was grass I wouldn't even think about it.

I’ve gone onto ploughing and done end rigs after one passing the middle of the field and doesn’t pull apart from ins and outs near the end rig
