One meter cubed of muck capacity isn't going to equate to much in the way of jiggly, round beet with a big rod destroying available space inside.
I suspect there is a reason it's for sale. An awful lot of these smallholder, mini machines look good in the catalogue and disappoint when used. Ask me how I know...ahem... mini round baler and wrapper, quad sized harrows, etc, been there got the t-shirt. And they seldom last if stuck behind even a moderately powered full size tractor, been there as well. Had the bills, sold the scrap, got the t-shirt.

The idea is genius, whether it works in practise I don’t know.

seen plenty put it through rear discharge spreaders and dairy farms putting through straw choppers but it comes out like pulp from a straw chopper

I recon your about right here , i doubt its heavy duty enough to cope with huge lumps of fodder beet for long prob bend middle bar ,with something like 70hp on the front Be interesting to try an old rusty one though , bought on the cheap

i've got one i'd sell you for £500+vat....BUT....it's hand load with ZERO stone tolerance......so it's very much hand load....it didn't say that on the advert when i bought it....it does now:rolleyes: .....it holds about 400kg ...takes about 10 mins to load.....i've to many sheep to bother with it....they have to eat whole...i'm gonna stick it on local facebook or convert to a hopper feeder if i can't sell it:)

There is a spreader for sale on Sunderlands online sale at Grafton ,Hereford todayand tomorrow.
It's a good spreader but does need a bearing . It's a genuine dispersal sale and the kit is old but very well looked after .
He has used it for both potatoes and beet .
It will go on an Ifor Williams flatbed .
