Ok, so we have a pub that backs onto one of our fields and been having issues with kids trampling the crops while there parents sit in the beer garden getting p!ss*d! There’s also a footpath on the opposite side of the field so people tend to cut access to access the pub in summary rather than sticking to the path and going’s around (probably only an extra 50-100m!).
We’ve spoken to the landlord and to be fair he’s trying his best but can’t be pulling pints and watching out back at the same time.
So, we’re thinking of fencing it but can I use barbed wire? I was thinking 4 strands with one either side of the post at the top to stop them climbing over, should keep the livestock in the beer garden. Would this be legal or would I have to use plain wire? Doubt it would have much stopping power on the animals though .
This is just some of the damage done, caught them playing rugby on there one time!
