Don't pay them until they redo it. Only way they'll change
I've a posh poetry "garden" in the middle of the farm here, run by an even "posher" board of trustees

Let them have a bit of ground to extend the carpark last spring, and their ludicrously expensive contractor, (who actually works for a company building posh ponds) did this....

I'm not really speaking to the trustees much any more 🙄

They pushed the boat out on that one using 5 staples per wire. No wonder it was so expensive.

Yeah, and the time it took for 5 strainers, 10 yards of post and rail, a couple of gates hung, and about 50 yards of clipex fence.....

..... A week 😳 yeah, an entire week! 😲

If only he'd used a staple gun 🤣

Just a word of warning, I was told the Milwaukee staple gun has an internal gas canister which can only do about 25,000 staples then it runs out, and so far Milwaukee doesn’t have replacement gas for this or a solution. They don’t tell you this when you buy one and I’m guessing they hope the warranty runs out before you reach 25,000 staples, which is about 12km of fencing
I could be wrong but I was told this by a man trying to sell me staples for our stockade
We like the stockade as they are proper staples, not so keen on kmr staples, rather thin but a good gun
I had my stockade gun serviced last year for the first time and it has done 24000 staples, (they have a counter on which they read when serviced). Surprising how quickly they clock up. I have got a dewalt gun as well as a backup and it doesn’t feel as nice as the stockade. I think the stockade is the best but it’s a balance between cost and the benifit of having no gas. I only went for dewalt as I have the batteries.

Ours doesnt look that awful haha. Tie off round strainer, pull with quick fencer, tension, bury staples so it doesnt slip, let off tension, finish by tiying off as normal. Works for us and were on the coast, never had issues with netting rusting through where stapled hard.

That’s because todays wire is well galvanised
It’s an old boys problem with hard stapling, we will hard staple when needed but always tie off, some of this crap timber will rot off long before the wire will rust, and the staples will actually rust first as you knock galv off when you hammer them in

Wouldnt really be sure how to pull it and tie off without hard stapling like others suggest tbh.
