Elicit has gone down in patches after digested cake, otherwise Elicit, Skyfall and Illustrious all stood up.
Belfry had some down patches. I do take full responsibility for all of it as I cut back on moddus this year. Would normally do 2x 0.2, did 2x 0.1. Still had full rate CCC. Some N possibly went on too early.

My Gravity has stood up so far. I will be very surprised If it’s not the best yield here. I am not sure what moddus brings to lodging control. Split CCC followed by terpal works better IMO.

Anyone got any tips combining barley flat to the floor. Lifters on a lexion either ride over the top or bulldoze
Reel just hasn’t got the power to drag the stalks up over the lifters
As soon as the sun goes down the job is buggered
4t crop but no use till its in the shed

As above. Maybe take the lifters up as can have a tendency for the crop to get caught in them, and cut one way........sorry.
Always found that if it wasnt crisp and dry, it was a time wasting exercise.

Take half your lifters off, every other. Use reel best you can to lift crop, it can be a fine line between too low and just right, if grounds wet and sun goes off straw will soon go damp and your buggered.

I'm running lifters currently. They only work if the tips are very close to the ground which means you may have to lift the cutterbar a bit to stop them flexing and the tips pointing upwards. Can you tilt the face of the feederhouse to suit? It seems counter-intuitive to lift the cutterbar but that helps the lifters work better. As above, experiment with taking alternate lifters out on a few places to see if that helps.

As above, if it's properly flat on the ground, cutting one way is the only way though cross ways is possible if there's enough air underneath it to fit a lifter tip. The straw has to be dry or walk away and find something else to do. Sorry - there's no magic bullet & you're not the sort to use Swan Vestas...

As above. Gentle weaving from side to side will also help the lifter raise the crop.

I hate to promote such an unreliable make of Combine, but when its actually going for some reason I can pick up flat stuff for fun compared to all the Class & NH combines I've driven in the past.

You will be in great demand this harvest! Big storm predicted tomorrow & gales on Saturday for the South. I might have a lot of flat crops for you to cut down here!!
