So our land roller has seen better days and iv been studying about making a new frame for it as its the part thats rotten and turning it into a compactor with rings welded to it for behind the buckrake, which means id need a new roller. Id also like a cambridge roller with shatter boards for making ploughed ground ready to reseed after the powerharrow, but seeimg as the bank account is holding me back as usual i was wondering does any1 make a water ballasted folding land roller with shatter boards? Any ideas on pricing? And would it do a good enough job on soil compared to the rings? Woukdnt have to run it full when on the soilif it was gonna be too heavy

We have a set of dalbo greenline 630 with shatter boards . It’s up there with one of the
best things we have bought . Brilliant for leveling off ploughing pre cultivations and then also used in conjunction with a electro broadcaster mounted on the front of the tractor for reseeding and also for scratching over stubbles for cover crops . Also good for spring rolling where we have spread muck on grassland in the winter to break it up and incorporate into the ground . We sold our grass harrows and now just use the boards and rollers . We did spread muck ( well rotten) on silage aftermaths and worked in very well . We bought ours 2nd hand in Jan this year £11500 . May look at trade up at some point and go with the mounted seeder ,
