Anyone got some details of these tractors please?
It’s an A regd 7910 with Ford bubble cab and 4 wheel drive.

Not seen it properly yet as too far away, but seems in ok condition and drives and pulls really well apparently.
Did all these have Dual Power as standard, what engine power are they; and they seem fairly rare what sort of money do they make please?

Asking for a friend.

Derated 8210, and they need a turbo to make anyone smile.
French import, might not even have a uk style pickup hitch. That's why it might seem cheap.
Cab might not be completely rotten if it has been somewhere very dry.

Rare, as not sold in the UK. Most likely a Frenchy. Derated 8210, I think ( stand to be corrected )
100hp, 6 cylinder.
Whilst aimed primarily at the French market (where they didn't like turbochargers at the time, and so tended not to buy the 76 and 77), they were definitely sold in the UK too - farm I was on in mid eighties had one on a B plate (B350 EFE), bought new from Hartford Motors in Caistor. They later bought another (with the next registration number in the sequence - B351 EFE) from a local farm sale. The one they had from new was a very good tractor, but underpowered and subsequently had the fuel pump opened up to give it the 115hp of the 8210. The other one rattled like a bag of old bottles and never had either the power or the road speed/engine revs that the other one had (even before it was uprated).

As you say, they were an 8210 derated to the same flywheel power of a 76/7710 (98hp DIN). From what I recall, the long wheelbase made them more comfortable to drive than the 7710s, but they were pretty slow on the road. Pretty sure dual-power was standard?

I think the 7910 only joined the range in early 1984, so one on an A plate (August 1983 to July 1984) will be a fairly early one.

Wish to fuk I hadn't bothered posting. Lesson learnt.

Anyway, Can't find anything to suggest they were offered as an option in the first generation of 10 series in the UK.

If the cab is right and you budget for £1k for pickup hitch (if needed) and £1k for turbo (if wanted) then it will be ok.
Oh, and they were as slow on the road as the 8210 too. 18mph?
One of those where rarity does not = high price.

The 10 series launched in early 1981, but the 7910 was only introduced in early 1984, so won't feature in any earlier literature. It was dropped from the range before the 7810 was introduced in 1988 (might have been dropped from the UK before that as it wasn't a great seller here?).

I don't think they sold that many in the UK as farmers here were already happy with the 7610 and 7710, and the 7810 was the same horsepower, but had the extra weight of the 8210 (which in those days of compaction conciousness was seen as a drawback).

Interesting that in you second pic, the 8210 is actually still using the side profile of the previous 8200 (built by County with a Schindler front axle mounted a little further back from where Ford mounted the front axle for the 7910/8210.

I suppose yoU could spec it like an 8210. I've had three and they were all turboed.but compared to modern tractors they are big slow ships anchors.

Absolutely, I wouldn't have one in the fleet.
Have an 8100 and an 8200 but they hop on a bit! The crash gearbox is more usable for shuttle work.
They would have been a massive tractor 40 years ago.

Yes, the 7910 was most definitely sold in the U.K.

Off topic but I don’t remember any big Ford’s locally that weren’t TWs except a late 8210 with oversized solid centre wheels that used to smoke like an ocean liner being hammered on a bomford low draft superflow in up to the frame as the first pass for potatoes before they had converted to mostly JDs.

Condition means everything. Impossible to even guess a value. I've sold two very tidy orignal Q cab models for high teens

Better to buy one with no rot but needing an engine rebuild than rotten but mechanically good

All Q cab / SQ cab Fords are plodders really. I really liked the ones I had, for what they are used for now power is fine as doubt there'll be frontline tractors
