I don’t sell anything but have to visit landowners along a pipeline route. I give out work gloves to all the farmers I visit and they are usually ready for a new pair by the time I get round to visiting them again. A long time ago the oil company we work for gave out leather bound road atlases, we still get asked for them now despite being in the era of sat nav.

Years ago I had the task of unloading a lorry full of poultry equipment from Italy. When I got to the end of the load there was a mystery parcel the size of a spud box which had to go to the office, turned out it was wine from the clink of the bottles.

I was convinced I would win the Aston Martin when David Brown were running their commemoration models competition. I ended up with a pair of overalls. I have an FSL Bells body warmer from about the same time that is still perfectly functional even though Mrs Fred frowns at me if I wear it off the farm, and refers to it as my "Marty McFly."

I’ve still got a ruck of yellow tray feeders from FSL Bells and still working through the free ram harnesses that came from them. They must have been bought out by Brinicombe twenty years ago now?:scratchhead:

We must have been paying through the nose for liquid feed back then, even when it was 14ppl.

I picked up my third batch of Toxovax for my replacements this morning and found a free ‘vaccine administration kit’ put out for me in the box at the vets. I haven’t managed to blag one of those for a couple of years, so cameto the conclusion that I’ve obviously bought to much of it this year!

Cox/Allflex area rep. sent me 150 lamb slaughter tags as a thank you for the business I've given them this past 18 months.
The value of the tags is a drop in the ocean compared to what I've spent with them. But they came through the post, out of the blue. Very welcome gift I didn't ask for and wasn't expecting

Makes a free pen and a cap when you buy a tractor look pathetic

We had a free roly pedal tractor thrown in for the kids with a tractor deal a few years ago.
Then had a trailer for it with the next one...
Local JD dealer is pretty good for "free" mugs and the like and can usually get a hoodie or pair of overalls chucked in with any machinery purchase.

My accountants give away thousands of small rugby balls at agricultural shows every year ( except this year of course) and they have been brilliant for the kids as they have grown up and also entertaining the dog’s
