Guess the weight/grade

Getting towards the end of the suckled bulls now the price is rising again (typical ?) . Sent two Lim bulls and a blonde steer this morning all 12-14 months. Anyone fancy a guess at what they weighed and graded?! Pictures aren't the best but something to go on. All the best are sold as suckled calves and finish the rest.

Could have kept the younger one a bit longer and got more weight into him but happy enough for the weight at the age. The big lad just squeezed in by the skin of his teeth. The blonde steer was bought in as an outfit but fed him as a bit of a trial as probably going to stop selling the extreme ones as suckled calves but castrate and feed them like bulls.

Roughly £1420, £1240 and £1210 before haulage and deductions. So should average £1250 in my hand. Not great by any stretch but better than some I've done over the last month. Can't fault how the cattle have done just should be leaving an extra £100.
Have you tried any live? I have bulls similar to yours (just more red) and I think live is in front of dead at the moment

Not tried any live this year. I've only ever tried live once with bulls and I honestly think deadweight is best for my type, steers and heifers a totally different kettle of fish. My types will often grade better than they look but wouldn't make enough live to come to the same money. Bulls that look nothing special will be a U= but wouldnt look like U grades in the ring if that makes sense.

Normally I would agree and I have kill sheets very similar to yours.
Are you weighing them pre movement?
