Does anyone know what is causing the supply issue with Heptavac and when it is likely to reappear on the market.

Harbro called me the other day to say they had none of any size, and wouldn't until mid June. Fortunately I'd gone Bravoxin a few weeks ago.
My vets said mid-June at teh earliest. Gone for Bravoxin on his recommendation.

It's a bu66er, but they can do as they like (and charge what they like) as they're the only manufacturer that does a vaccine that covers (some strains of) pasturella.
We need somebody else to start making something to compete with them.
Probably as much chance of that as using unicorn tears to do the same job

Competition will never happen... this is multinational pharmaceutical global monopolies. It's a cut throat industry and every company is at it keeping their products tight under their control.
Just look at almost every Elanco product.

Thanks for the replies, looks like it'll be late June before supplies are available, seems Noromectin is also hard to come by, not sure what's going on.

Most Norbrook products out of stock apparently, talking to local merchants who hadn’t had any Calciject in for a long time and they had dairy farms waiting for pallet loads each

Picked up a few really smart 35/36 kg springers that looked perfect, but were just not breathing

Bravoxin10. Don't drop vaccinating the ewes - you'll lose a lot of good lambs at the 10day old stage (been there got that t-shirt)
It's 1ml per jag - first, 2nd and annual boosters. And it covers more Clostridial diseases than any other product.
Covexin8 is a 5ml initial Jag with a 2ml 2nd Jag and then 2ml annual boosters.
