I've had pretty good luck with the kind of cheap to mid range LED's. I know a few that run Rigid in marine applications they are a real nice light, probably top of the line. But the cost is eye watering. I put 4 6" LED Light bars in place of the factory cab lights on our 3070 Massey about 6 years ago and they are still working great. They were just cheap ones off Amazon.

I have both. Cheap serve a purpose. The light pattern is normally poor and they don’t last long or appear as bright as they claim. I’ve an Osram light at about 50cm in length . It is amazing. It was on my amarok for two years and still
Looks like new. It was £250 I think. I’ve also two little osram spots on my motorbike . They are only 15w each but light up an amazing area and have about 500m length of light. I’ve also a few Nordic of equal quality. I won’t be buying cheap again.

Bought 8 for £50 off eBay. Caused radio interference so fitted them to a scraper tractor and old telescopic and they work fine. Got a few mid range sparex ones (£30 each) fitted to a couple of things and they are fine, no radio interferenc, better light than halogens. Also bought quite a few off UTV products, good quality but £££, comes in nice boxes, bit like buying an Apple product

What do you think of the nordic lights? Profi gave them a great review a few years back

we did some testing for Lazer LED this summer / autumn on tractors and combine and they are absolutely miles better than anything i have seen or used before - they are not cheap however but i think leds really are one of those things where you get what you pay for

we were testing and facilitating some marketing photos for their brochure ( they paid us for this !) so didn’t pay for them anyway but they were EXTREMELY good

I have since bought some for one of my defenders ! I don’t recommend anything i would not spend my own money on

Quality led's are great for when your sat in a machine looking out. If you want more lighting power while working outside the machine without getting blinded, loaders ect then halogen h9's can do a great job. Will probably need new cables ran though as they do suck up some juice. Working around people led's just ruin everyone else's vision i find.

If you require any information on the Nordic Lights I would be happy to help. The Go series is a great range and the new Sato 730 (oval) light is definitely worth a look. G
There is no getting away from the quality end of this LED job
Zero issues with a single Nordic LED worklight & ive got all price ranges & outputs on various machinery here.
Some must be 8 year old now. Big Thanks to Graham for supplying all of them
